It's been a coupla! It is Sunday AM and I am up in prep for a three-day SMK stint. Today we shoot all day. Tomorrow we shoot in the AM at a piano store and then record sound for the rest of the day. Tuesday we shoot all day again. SCDS has no school on Mon., Tues., and Wed., so we're taking advantage of me and Genny having time off from school. We are right in the middle of money. Literally. The money we HAD is gone and the money that is COMING isn't here yet. I had to wittingly write a bad chack to the lab to buy film, knowing that by Tueday, when they will deposit it, I'll have put the money in. But, what was I suppose'ta do? I had three days of shooting, no cash, and I had to have film. But, it's already worked out. The replacement monay has arrived... I wrote a song on Valentine's day that sings Highly for the "Immobile" crew. (This creative group, Organic Family, used to be known as Immobile Productions - a name we dropped for its backward vision) Well, no. It sings for a present-day togetherness; a feeling of connectedness that exists with some. It's a feeling of impending togetherness that exists in me, you, Kate, Kathryn, others... Let's face it; if you're one of the ones who feels it, it's easy to know, but ever try to explain it to someone uninvolved? Hard to do. (This song is from whence the name Organic Family sprung. Look for it in the first verse...)
By Jesse P. Howard
Oh, how I see
I feel that there is company
(chorus)
Oh, how I know
So jump that car and take a ride
(chorus)
Come on and look at me that way
Nothing ventured, nothing gained Well, that about wraps it for now. Off to shoot. Love ya... (I love you, too, bro.) jph
