Welcome to the Organic Family Home Page! I'm Todd Howard - the Webmaster for Organic Family. Our organization is one that does a great many things, and all of us who are involved wear different hats at different times. I happen to be the one who does most of the web stuff, so when you visit our website, you'll primarily be hearing from me. Jesse Howard, Kate Howard, Jesse Moore, Paul Westfall, Erika Stone, and myself are the original members of Organic Family, but there is quite a number (and growing) of other folks who consistently participate in our delivery of quality independent artistic projects.

Check out The Trouble with Boys and Girls (formerly called THE LAST the end) - an independent feature film we completed in 2002. We spent the better part of a year creating a beautiful High-Definition digital video transfer from the original negative, and are going to be screening the film and submitting it to film festivals. The website for the film and a link to the trailer are here, and the site for THE LAST the end (our "production" website) is still online. It is an in-depth look at the production of an indie film from top to bottom. It is an honest and witty account of a dream in the making. Check it out!

This website has been difficult to maintain given the fact that we spend so much tome working on our projects (it's the old "shoemaker's children" story all over again) Eventually, it will be a repository and archive of everything "Organic Family". Feel free to stop by between now and then, but be aware that everything may not yet be in place. (We are still under construction! You may encounter dead links, broken images and a few dust bunnies!) That's life!

Jesse (who is my brother), Kate (Jesse's wife) and myself are the original co-founding members of this bi-coastal multimedia arts organization based in Seattle, WA and The Berkshires of Massachusetts. Jesse Moore, Paul and Erika Stone (my wife) came into the fold in the Spring of 1998. We are pleased to invite you to check out the The Trouble with Boys and Girls, THE LAST the end, and Strike My Key web sites. Strike My Key, our first film (a 15 minute short shot in 16mm, black and white, reversal), premiered in Seattle at the Grand Illusion theatre on June 27th, 1998, and screened in the 1998 Bumbershoot 1-reel festival. The Trouble with Boys and Girls is our most recently completed project and we premiered the first trial release print to our fine cast and crew at the Majestic Bay Theatre in Ballard, Seattle, WA on May 12th, 2001. The film publicly premiered at the 2003 Dances With Films film festival in Santa Monica, California - and has had a few screenings since. We do not currently have distribution for the film. If you are interested in obtaining a copy of the video for yourself, please email us at info@thetroublewithboysandgirls.com to order one.

Thanks for joining us - and visit us again soon!
